Silent Auction and Brunch

It's that time of year again.  We will be having our Silent Auction and Brunch in place of our Regular December Meeting on December 3rd at 9:30 at Horizons Church.  Bring your checkbooks or cash, your friends and a dish to pass.

November General Meeting and Outings

Our general meeting for this month will be on November 12th at 9:15 a.m.  Our very own Hillary will be walking us through how to make a wreath.  You will need to bring your own evergreen wreath (30-36 inches), a bolt of wired ribbon and 6-12 small ornaments.  The kids will be watching the ever famous Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and producing an adorable craft at the end of the meeting.

Evites have already gone out for the November meeting.  Please be sure to rsvp for the nursery, if needed.

This month we will be donating non-perishable items to LovePacs.  Please bring one or two (or more) items as there will be a donating box available to you during this month's meeting.

LovePacs needs list is as follows:

Bread (this needs to be a purchased close to packing date)
Jars of peanut butter
Squeezable jelly
Bag of cereal or individual boxes of cereal
Pop top cans of veggies
Pop top cans of meat
Pop top can's of soup or pasta
Single servings of pasta (Chef Boyardee, Spaghetti O's or Easy Mac)
Fruit -apple sauce, fruit cups, or pop top cans
Small boxes of raisins or dried fruit
Cracker sandwiches (cheese or peanut butter)
goldfish, animal crackers, or pretzels
Trail Mix
Juice boxes
toothpaste
toothbrush
deodorant
shampoo
body wash

***Per Tricia:  "Currently we are lacking in large bags or boxes of snacks such as trail mix, animal cookies, gold fish, pretzels, etc. And we can alway use more pop top or easy to open meat/beans, poptop fruits and veggies."

October General Meeting and Outings

Our general meeting is this coming Monday, October 15 at 9:15 a.m.  Sci-Tech will be our speaker this month, and our very own Margaret Richter will be having some "Fun with Science" with our children.

Evites have gone out to all members for the upcoming meeting.  If you have not received an Evite please email me at newsletter@tcecpta.org and I will add you to the list.  If you no longer wish to receive the Evites, please feel free to email me and let me know.

This month we will be donating non-perishable items to our local food pantry, Metro-Relief.  Please bring one or two (or more) items as there will be a donating box available to you during this month's meeting.

•  Monday, October 22:  Pumpkin Patch Outing to Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina
  $8 admission per person; includes a small pumpkin, feed for the animals, hayride, roping pen and maze.  Appears parking is free.  Meet at 10:00 a.m.

•  Monday, October 29: Halloween Playdate at Kim's house.  Bring kids in costume to play and decorate cupcakes.  Evite will be sent out soon.

• Tuesday, October 23: Zaxby's Fundraiser from 5-8 p.m.

September Meeting

It's that time again!  Since school is back in session, TCECPTA is meeting again monthly. Our first meeting for this year will be on September 10 at 9:15.

We will be meeting at our new location at Horizons Church located at 6600 Paige Road.

Be sure to email your nursery reservations to nursery@tcecpta.org.  Your 2012/2013 Board Members will be providing the refreshments.
